Magic Series Cooker Hood V919
V919
A slim hood for a cabinet run: 270 to 330mm deep, with a closed negative-pressure underside 513mm across that holds the pocket under the whole canopy. 3,050 m³/h of turbo suction, 450 Pa rated and 1,300 Pa at peak, at 50 dB. It watches the resistance of the shared duct while you cook and adjusts to it, and the oil screen splits in two for the dishwasher.

Detail

A slim body, in a cabinet
Between 270mm and 330mm deep, so it goes into a cabinet run and stops there. The depth is what decides whether a hood is a fitted appliance or a box hanging off the wall.

3,050 m³/h of turbo suction
Enough to hold a wok flare in an open kitchen, and enough that the hob can be used hard without the room filling up behind you.

1,300 Pa of static pressure
The number that decides whether a high-floor flat actually clears. Rated pressure is 450 Pa and it peaks at 1,300 Pa, which is what a long shared duct with several bends asks for.

It reads the duct while you cook
Intelligent volume adjustable suction watches the resistance of the central tunnel in real time and sets wind pressure and air volume to match, which is what keeps it working during the peak hour when every flat on the riser is cooking at once.

A closed negative pressure bottom
The underside is closed rather than open, 513mm across, so the low-pressure pocket forms under the whole canopy instead of leaking out at the edges.

Steam washing, then dry
High-pressure hot water flushes continuously, then the motor spins itself dry at high speed so nothing is left sitting wet inside the cavity.

Four steps to a clean hood
The cycle you actually run, in the order you run it. The captions on the four panels are the steps:
- Take the oil cup off the bottom of the hood
- Put the water cup, filled, on the rack
- Press the one-key auto-clean
- Pour the water cup off and put the oil cup back

Quick-release oil filter
The filter unclips with a pull, with nothing to unscrew above a hot hob.

Segmented, for the dishwasher
The screen comes apart into two sections, each small enough to go in the dishwasher.

A 5.1 inch screen, and a hand sensor
Recipes, timers and fan steps on the screen; start and stop with a wave when your hands are not clean enough to touch it.

Quiet at 50 dB
Multi-dimensional noise reduction, which in practice means the hood sits nearer a conversation than a busy street: the marks on the curve are 15, 30, 41 and 70 dB.

Three ways to fit it
Open, into a cabinet, or fully built in. The labels under the three panels are the three concepts, and which one applies is a joinery decision rather than a different model.

Questions about the V919
- How deep is the VATTI V919?
- 270 to 330 mm, depending on whether it is hung open, set into a cabinet or fully built in. The closed underside that does the catching is 513 mm across.
- How high should the V919 be installed above the hob?
- 400 to 430 mm from the hob surface to the bottom of the hood, which puts the bottom 1,250 to 1,280 mm off the floor over a standard 850 mm cabinet.
- What ducting does the V919 need?
- A 7 inch run, with the wall or ceiling hole 2,390 to 2,420 mm off the floor, back to back or to the side. It can also be run recycled rather than ducted where there is no riser to reach.
- What does 450 Pa rated and 1,300 Pa maximum mean?
- Rated pressure is what it holds continuously; maximum is what it can reach against a duct that fights back. On a short run the hood works at the low figure, quietly. On a long shared riser at dinner time it has 1,300 Pa in reserve, and it decides that for itself rather than waiting to be asked.
- How is the V919 cleaned?
- A one-key steam wash: high-pressure hot water flushes the cavity, then the motor spins itself dry. The oil screen is quick-release and splits into two sections small enough for the dishwasher, and the chamber carries a nano coating so less sticks in the first place. Oil filtration is 92%.
- What warranty does the V919 carry?
- Two years on the hood and ten years on the motor, for the original buyer, bought from an authorised dealer. Register it at VATTI eWarranty at the time of purchase: a claim needs the registration to be complete.
- How much is the V919 and where can I buy it?
- VATTI Malaysia does not sell online. The V919 goes through authorised dealers, who quote their own installed price against the cabinetry and ducting your kitchen needs. Find the nearest one in the dealer directory, or send us your kitchen layout and we will point you at the one that stocks it.
