Aetheris Series Cooker Hood V929

V929

The loudest hood in the range on paper and the quietest in the kitchen: 3,125 m³/h against 1,300 Pa of static pressure, the highest pressure VATTI sells, at 46.5 dB. Glass instead of a filter mesh, so oil runs into a cup rather than setting into metal. A PM2.5 sensor decides when it has finished, and a wave of the hand starts it. 896mm wide, hung 300mm over the hob.

Detail

Glass, not a filter mesh

Oil runs down the panel into a cup instead of setting in a metal mesh you have to lift out and soak.

  • No filter mesh
  • Built-in oil cup
  • Nano coating
Cutaway of the V929 BLDC motor and its impeller

BLDC motor, 3,125 m³/h at 1,300 Pa

The highest static pressure in the VATTI range. Airflow is the figure a showroom quotes; pressure is the one that decides whether a long shared duct on a high floor actually clears.

The V929 installed in an open kitchen looking out over water

46.5 dB at full tilt

Quiet enough to leave running through a whole dinner, and quiet enough that the kitchen stays part of the room rather than somewhere you shout across.

A kitchen with the V929 and a PM2.5 reading of 068 shown beside it

It reads the air, not the clock

A PM2.5 sensor measures what is actually in the kitchen and holds the fan on until the number comes down, rather than running for a fixed few minutes after you switch off.

Booster clean

The fifth generation of the VATTI auto-clean cycle, patented, and over a wider area than the generation before it. Hot water is thrown across the impeller rather than dribbled onto it.

The V929 hand sensor, with its three gestures marked under the panel

Wave at it with oily hands

A hand sensor under the panel, so nothing has to be touched mid-cook.

  • Wave right to start intelligent suction
  • Wave right twice for stir-fry suction
  • Wave left to delay the shutdown

An ambient light sits under the same panel.

The V929 turning itself on above a lit gas burner

It starts when the hob does

Light the hob and the hood turns itself on, catching the smoke before it leaves the pan. Available with the C836G hob only.

Airflow drawn into the underside of the V929 above a pan

79% more smoke collection area

The panel is wider than the one it replaces, so the catch area sits over the whole hob rather than over the back burners.

The slim front edge of the V929 panel

1.2 cm of panel

The visible edge is 12mm, divided on the golden ratio. Over an island, where the hood hangs at eye level, that edge is most of what anyone actually sees.

  • The V929 built into an overhead cabinet run

    Built into the cabinet

Set into the run with a removable shelf above it, so only the panel shows.

  • The V929 wall-mounted with its chimney showing

    Standing on its own

Hung on the wall with the chimney exposed, against a splashback.

Questions about the V929

What size is the VATTI V929?
896 mm wide, 354 mm deep and 1,077 mm tall with the chimney on. The chimney itself is 218 mm wide and 324 mm deep, so it reads narrower than the body from the front.
How high should the V929 be installed above the hob?
300 mm from the hob surface to the bottom of the hood, which is roughly 1,150 mm off the floor over a standard 850 mm cabinet. That is much lower than a T-type hood hangs, and it is the point: the panel is slanted so it sits close to the pan without anyone knocking their head on it.
What ducting does the V929 need?
A 7 inch run with a 190 mm hose. The wall or ceiling hole sits about 2,330 mm off the floor, back to back or to the side, and the telescopic pipe needs at least 120 mm of clearance to the ceiling. Keep the centre of the nearest burner within 280 mm of the wall.
Is the V929 strong enough for a high-floor condominium?
It is the strongest VATTI sells for exactly that case: 3,125 m³/h at 1,300 Pa of static pressure. Airflow moves air in an open kitchen; static pressure is what pushes it down a long shared duct with bends in it, and 1,300 Pa is half as much again as most of the range.
Does the V929 have a filter to clean?
No mesh filter at all. Oil runs down the AG tempered glass, which carries a nano coating, into a built-in cup you empty. The Booster Clean cycle washes the impeller itself, and 92% of the oil is taken out of the smoke before it gets that far.
Does the V929 work with any hob?
It vents any hob. The auto-link, where lighting the hob starts the hood by itself, works only with the C836G. On every other hob you start it by hand, or by waving at the sensor under the panel.
What warranty does the V929 carry?
Two years on the hood and ten years on the motor, for the original buyer, bought from an authorised dealer. Register it at VATTI eWarranty at the time of purchase: a claim needs the registration to be complete.
How much is the V929 and where can I buy it?
VATTI Malaysia does not sell online. The V929 goes through authorised dealers, who quote their own installed price against the ducting your kitchen needs. Find the nearest one in the dealer directory, or send us your kitchen layout and we will point you at the one that stocks it.
